Global Assessment Certificate Program
The Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Office of International Affairs is pleased to accept the Global Assessment Certificate Program (GAC) from ACT Education Solutions. GAC students entering Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ as international transfer students must meet the following requirements:
1. English Proficiency
- iBT TOEFL 61 or IELTS 5.5 or TOEIC 600
- Students without a passing IELTS/TOEFL/TOEIC will be required to take the English Placement Test upon arrival. If students test out of the placement test, they will be able to start academic study immediately.
- ESL courses may be required depending on the ESL English Placement Test results.
2. Eligibility to Earn Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Credits
- GAC Graduation Certificate
- 2.0 overall or average C in reference to U.S. Grade Point Average
3. GAC graduates with an ACT score of 25 or above may be eligible for academic excellence scholarship on a competitive basis.
